I’ve been experimenting with portable fuel for my trail runs, and here is a recent favorite.
Mix all the ingredients and form into balls.
They sound like a great idea!!!! Definitely need to put them on my to-make list 🙂

Should be so much better than jelly beans! I’m going to try it out. Do you have any idea about the proportions?
Thanks, and yes, I much prefer these natural ingredients to jelly beans! I usually do a 2:1 almond: coconut ratio with just enough honey to stick the two together (say 2 cups almond, 1 cup coconut, and 3 tablespoons of honey). It depends though on the desired protein: carbohydrate ratio, and you could modify it to suit your workout.
